Miss-Janyne-CANTER-horse-for-Adoption Miss Janyne has been adopted — but we couldn’t resist showing off some video of her when she was being fostered by the kind and talented Susan R. Miss J was a pleasure under saddle–always trying hard and quick to learn…typical of so many OTTBs! If you thought that none of our adoptable horses were ridable, think [...] Recently Channel 5’s Chronicle did a show about New England’s horse industry. CANTER New England’s work with Suffolk Downs, helping Thoroughbred retirement efforts, was one of the segments featured. You can see more about this segment by visiting their website. And you’ll see Jolie’s Melody–a former Suffolk Downs racer and broodmare that found a home [...] Quindaro came back to CANTER because of his first adopter’s personal circumstances.
